What Happened?

Shares of video sharing platform RUM Group (NASDAQGM:RUM) jumped 12.8% in the afternoon session after investors continued to digest the company's newly unveiled six-year, $13.7 billion GPU services agreement with a major U.S. cloud customer. According to regulatory filings, the contract covers GPU services at RUM’s under-development Maysville, Georgia site and includes warrants for up to 50.8 million Class A shares at $0.01 each that vest as the customer buys capacity.

The deal follows RUM’s recent acquisition of German AI cloud firm Northern Data, which added roughly 22,000 Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs to the newly launched Quake AI platform. CEO Chris Pavlovski has stated that Quake AI will fiercely compete with specialized cloud providers, and this order serves as a major recurring-revenue catalyst to validate that pivot.

What Is The Market Telling Us

RUM Group’s shares are extremely volatile and have had 60 moves greater than 5% over the last year. But moves this big are rare even for RUM Group and indicate this news significantly impacted the market’s perception of the business.

The previous big move we wrote about was 1 day ago when the stock gained 6% on the news that the company announced a roughly $13.7 billion contract with an unnamed U.S.-based cloud customer to supply AI chips and GPU services. According to Reuters, the six-year agreement gives the customer access to GPUs and related infrastructure from Rumble’s facility in Maysville, Georgia, structured in three purchase installments, with the final phase contingent on customer-approved delivery dates.

A TipRank's company-announcement summary of the filing notes that RUM also granted the customer warrants to buy up to about 50.8 million Class A shares at $0.01 per share, vesting in tranches as service purchases are fulfilled. RUM also said it plans to pursue debt or equity financing to fund the capital needed to build out and fulfill the contract.

RUM Group is up 62% since the beginning of the year, and at $10.33 per share, it has set a new 52-week high. Investors who bought $1,000 worth of RUM Group’s shares 5 years ago would now be looking at an investment worth $1,063.

Every AI server needs specialized infrastructure the chip companies don’t make. High-speed cables. Power connectors. Thermal sensors. This 90-year-old company built a monopoly on it. The AI boom just started. This stock is still flying under the radar. Claim The Stock Ticker Here for FREE.
